About me
Hi, I’m Genevieve Grant, founder of The Chief Stew Club and a yachting professional with nearly a decade of experience onboard vessels up to 90m, both private and charter.
I landed my first Chief Stew role at 23 and have been running high-performing interiors, leading teams, setting up full interiors from scratch, and managing all the beautiful (and chaotic) layers that come with this role ever since.
Over the years, I’ve trained junior stews, managed full refits and yard periods, hosted themed events, worked with top provisioners, and learned how to lead with intention, not just instruction.
When I got that first Chief Stew offer, I was buzzing. And then it hit me… “Now I actually have to do the thing.” Lead the team, create systems, manage expectations, and deliver the experience. It’s exciting and overwhelming all at once and that’s exactly why I created The Chief Stew Club.
This isn’t just a mentorship. It’s the support I wish I had when I first stepped into leadership. Whether you’re transitioning into your first HOD role or want to feel more structured and prepared mid-season, this is your space. You don’t need to figure it all out on your own.
I’m here to help you lead with clarity, confidence, and calm and to give you every tool I’ve created along the way.
